Please note: For extensive 1280°C/stoneware, we can supply K6 as 240V/25amp, for extended operating life of elements, requires direct wiring or 30amp plug top and lead (not supplied).
It is recommended that circuit breakers or fuses are electrical cables are rated at a minimum of 20% above the required amperage of the unit. Three phase kilns are 5 wire – 1 earth, 1 neutral, 3 actives.
Note: We can manufacture quite a number of 2 and 3 phase kilns as single phase if you have adequate single phase power available. The same may also be done with the multi-sided octagonal kilns.

Element support is crucial for long element life. The open coil design is used to minimise temperature gradients between wire and chamber temperature. The size and temperature of your furnace will dictate element type and design.
Control is the brain of any furnace and determines the efficiency of the furnace operation. Tetlow furnaces are available with a wide variety of both automatic and manual controls to match your specific requirements. From manual percentage input control, to automatic digital programmers where control accuracy is a must.
The quality of the insulation is the single most important ingredient determining the efficiency and workability of any furnace. Tetlow offers the finest hot face insulating materials available today.
